Renify provides a platform connecting homeowners with vetted, insured home service professionals. Our services include facilitating estimates, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and managing communications between parties. We act as an intermediary and do not directly perform home services.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your password and account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
- Not share your account credentials with others
4. Service Providers
Service providers on our platform are independent contractors, not employees of Renify. While we vet our providers, we do not guarantee the quality of their work. Any agreements for services are between you and the service provider. We encourage you to verify credentials and insurance before work begins.
5. Payments and Fees
By using our payment services, you agree that:
- All fees displayed are estimates until confirmed by the service provider
- A service fee may be applied to transactions
- Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed
- Refunds are subject to our refund policy and dispute resolution process
- You are responsible for providing accurate payment information
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Circumvent our platform to avoid fees
- Provide false or misleading information
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or providers
- Attempt to access unauthorized areas of our systems
- Interfere with the proper functioning of our platform
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Renify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in class action lawsuits.
